Massar Egbari played a significant role in the films Hawi (2010), directed by Ibrahim El-Batout, the band contributed to the film's raw and poetic atmosphere, aligning with its exploration of human struggles in Alexandria.

In Microphone, directed by Ahmad Abdalla, Massar Egbari had a more prominent presence, performing on-screen and showcasing their music as a key element of the film’s narrative. Microphone highlighted Alexandria’s underground music scene, with the band symbolizing the creative resilience of independent artists in Egypt.
